Kaleidoscope’s Therapist

Nigel Turk, NCC LCPC

Hello! I’m Nigel (they/them) and I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois (license number 180.017811).

I graduated from Bradley University with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022 and have been working in other roles in the broad field of mental health and community support since 2015. I take a very person-centered and holistic approach to counseling because I know that every client is different and unique, benefiting most from an integration of a variety of therapy techniques in a collaborative treatment plan designed to recognize and respect each client’s individuality.

As a genderfluid and neurodiverse person, I know firsthand that a “one size fits all” approach isn’t going to meet everyone’s needs!

I believe this approach to therapy does not just benefit queer, ADHD, and autistic client but is helpful for all people looking to navigate their own individual struggles with mental health, relationships, and identity. Whatever your unique approach to the world, tackling those struggles starts with meeting you where you’re at and working together to find the best way forward.
